Meet Mrs. Kessinger
I am a proud mother of two beautiful children. I love to spend time outside with my children hiking, camping, kayaking.
I have a passion for teaching Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS); Career and Technical education. While in high school I was very active in the FACS programs and Family, Career & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) student organization. I competed on national STAR Event levels multiple years. We went to Washington, DC; San Diego, CA and St. Louis, MO. I am excited to have the full circle of going from student to now adviser in FCCLA. I found my desire to become a teacher through FCCLA and the FACS programs.
My undergraduate degree is in Organizational Communications and masters degree is in Curriculum Instruction Education with an emphasis in Family and Consumer Science education.
I am thrilled to be your child's Intro to Social Health, Teen Living &/or Career Exploration teacher. Middle school is a hard transition for students. I am here to help make that transition easier. I love having open communication with students and parents.
